Just saw on ESPN news. Maybe Dye has a shot? Obviously leading your team to the playoffs is no longer a prerequisite among the voters the last few years.

No, Dye does not have a shot.

I know.

The Lord Jeter Christ is going to win AL MVP because he led a terribly depleted team to October.

Gosh damn do the voters suck. Pujols was quite clearly the best player in the NL, and I think you can make a case for Beltran even being better than Howard. Beltran is quite obviously a much better baserunner, and he plays elite defense in CF, where Howard can't even play a good 1B. He honestly should be DHing.

Yikes...

I know Howard had an amazing year, but how the hell can you go against Pujols? As bad as the Cardinals were, and they were indeed bad, they're the Pirates without Albert. If not for that injury earlier in the year, no telling what his overall numbers would've been.

Jeter's obviously going to win it, Dye and Ortiz were apart of teams there slumped towards the end of the year and the three Twins will cancel each other out.
