December 8, 200619 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) per ESPN Once it is confirmed I will start dancing. S.F. deserves him and I am happy I will no longer have to listen to the rumors of him coming to Chicago.
December 8, 200619 yr Barry Bonds and the Giants have reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year, $16 million contract. It seemed certain to happen sooner or later, and though we thought the Giants would try to force a bigger pay cut than this, it's a fair salary for Bonds in this market. With Bonds back, the Giants can now try to do something to patch up what a rather ugly pitching staff. Even if Bonds plays in 130 games, the team isn't going to contend without adding another quality starter or two.

December 11, 200619 yr QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 09:37 PM) 16mil, wow. Free agency is getting crazy, the guy is 42. Bonds has made the Giants a lot of money. I really don't have a problem with HIS salary, "extra-curricular activites" aside.
