February 19, 200719 yr That is a fantastic article, very well done. Rich Gossage is one of my all time favorite pitchers. I remember getting his autograph when he was a young pitcher with the Sox during spring training of 1976 in Sarasota, Florida. Even after Gossage left the Sox, I always pulled for him except against the White Sox of course.
February 20, 200719 yr The closers have gotten the collective thumb to the nose from the HOF. I really hope to see that change soon.
