BA with a nice double.

BA BABA BABABABABABABABAB

i f'in love him

RBI double off the batters eye for Anderson. Crede comes home to score.

okay so they're swinging at first pitch most at bats, huh? i mean you can stack your spring training numbers that way but it doesn't seem like a very smart way to start the preseason. the more pitches you see the better off you are in the long run. so honestly, if they want to hack at first pitch and hit it wherever they want, that's their own prerogative but they're not getting much out of it.

Anderson scores on a Uribe 1b.

11-4

hurray for BA! he's got too much talent to have another season like last year. and his defense is too freakin sweet to sacrifice him.

hahah i wasnt a bears fan back in those days but if i was i'm sure i'd still be whining about it. can't blame ditka though, he's infallible. i have that picture of him wearing a Bears NFC Champions hat before the superbowl on my cell phone

I don't blame Ditka for the 1986 loss...we have Darrell Green to thank for that debacle.

1987 was going to be the Bears year I am convinced, but the strike did that team in, and Ditka handled it very poorly...that is even before we talk about the Flutie/Tomzcak/McMahon freakshow. 87 coulda, shoulda, woulda, but just wasn't meant to be...
