March 4, 200719 yr QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 11:55 AM) Mizzou will give Texas a run for its money after they beat Baylor. I don't know, Durant and Texas are the worst matchup for the Tigers IMO.
March 5, 200719 yr QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 11:21 PM) Ok, so here's the plan. ISU, go take down Kansas. Then we will go from there. I wouldnt count on it.
March 5, 200719 yr Author QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 11:21 PM) Ok, so here's the plan. ISU, go take down Kansas. Then we will go from there. We need to worry about OU first. Too bad I won't be in the OKC to heckle Longar. Longar. IF we win Thursday, we'll then worry about KU. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 11:55 AM) Mizzou will give Texas a run for its money after they beat Baylor. Watch the Bears upset the Tigs. ISU Tech Ok St Baylor KU Tech A&M Texas KU Texas KU That's my guess, as of right now. Only three lower seeds winning games.
March 5, 200719 yr Author QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 12:50 PM) I see Texas beating Kansas in finals. I see Texas beating Kansas in finals. I considered that. I def think that's the championship game, cause hopefully the God I believe in hates A&M, but I think Texas has the best chance to beat KU (aside from State, of course, )
March 5, 200719 yr The biggest knock I can say about Texas right now is they seem to fatigue rather quickly with multiple games over a few day span. They have played in several overtime games this year, and have looked sluggish in their next game down the stretch.... Now, I do like this teams chances to give a lot of teams hell in the tourney, but the rest of the role players have to continue to develop around Durant so there is not as much pressure to put up 35 every game. March 5, 200719 yr QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 03:57 PM) Dude, Augustin is simply amazing as well. As of lately he has been amazing...my point being, he has to continue to step up so there is not as much pressure on Durant. Texas has somewhat flown under the radar in for most of the early part of the year, because most people thought they were just Durant. The Big XII may only get 4 in, but I'm expecting 3 of them to get to the Sweet 16.

March 9, 200719 yr QUOTE(danman31 @ Mar 8, 2007 -> 09:26 PM) Baylor just shot 65% in the first half. you live and die by the full court press, it can turn into layup city.
March 9, 200719 yr QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 12:03 AM) you live and die by the full court press, it can turn into layup city. They didn't even run the press in the first half because they respected Baylor's guards. Too bad they couldn't defend them. In desperation in the 2nd half they ran it. They forced some turnovers, but it was Baylor's night. How often do you say that?
March 9, 200719 yr Kansas a 10.5 point favorite against the Sooners. Does anybody know if these games are on the internet anywhere?
March 9, 200719 yr The Big 10 and especially Big 12 are just mind bogglingly awful. I can't remember seeing either league as bad as it is this year. Should be an easy day for KU, Texas, and ATM today.
March 9, 200719 yr I see A&M over Texas. I'll take a senior leader in Acie Law over 4 freshmen every day. And I'm going to pick the "upset" of A&M over KU. And 101...give me a conference that is stand out this year? There really isn't one. Big East will have a lot of teams in, but maybe 1 that is FF worthy. Pac 10 - I would've said them until UCLA got beat by Cal. SEC - It's Florida and the rest. ACC - Mmm, not so much. Conf USA - Nope. Edited March 9, 200719 yr by CanOfCorn
