Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Don't hate the guy, but won't miss him. But hey, if you can run around the league as a backup catcher, ah, what a life that is. Good luck to him with that, it's a good life.

Not a big surprise there... I am sure he will catch on a back up somewhere.

i hope he turns out to be a good ball player just too bad it isnt here

I always liked JP, he was a Sox fan before was a Sox, and I am very sorry that it did not work out. I do not disagree with what happened, just sorry it didn't happen here and I wish him the best.

Jp is a journeyman catcher

Good luck to him. He's good people. :cheers

I LIKED JOSH PAUL ALSO. bACK UP OR NOT HE IS STILL A GOOD CATCHER AND WISH HE COULD HAVE STAYED HERE AS THE BACK UP TO OLIVO.

The Sox picked up Mike Riviera from San Diego for that very reason. He is a AAA guy with some Major League time. He has hit very well since reporting to Charlotte.

I wish he had made it stick. I hope he gets picked up by a NL team so IU can really root for him.

Any new talk about who is he talking to, or where he might end up? And is there any chance of him coming back here?
