Poor guy. http://news.yahoo.com/photo/070904/480/5ca...c18a7e2ebe0f469 Nice camera angle. Now you notice that the Dems can't get a camera angle like that, now can they (unless of course, it's a full place)?

kapkomet
Prove my point wrong. Brownback has no support, that's not a surprise. But it's amazing how the AP publishes that pic, and not a crowd shot for the lesser Dem candidates. It is a funny picture, regardless.

I get it, they have to run a shot of a lesser Dem candidate right next to the Rep candidate. Of course then some would complain based on outer edge, below the fold, etc.

That isn't proof of anything, other than the fact that Brownback is a marginal candidate. Do they really have to print a picture of a Mike Gravel crowd every time they print one of Brownback? I'd say you need a tinfoil hat, but it appears you already have one.

NorthSideSox72
Well, Fred has made it official. Not that anyone doubted it to begin with. Typical Hollywood liberal, trying to make a dramatic scene of it. Oh wait...

Typical Hollywood liberal, trying to make a dramatic scene of it. Oh wait... I actually agree with this statement. Going on Leno to offically launch your campaign is just asinine and describes to a "T" the demeaning manner in which the office of the president has been dragged down to. It drags down my view of Sen. Thompson quite a bit, actually. He's now my "favorite" GOP candidate, but what he did is so cheap and it really bothers me. Good to see some real debate on the matter. I cannot remember the last time the Republican party actually, publically, discussed an issue. Makes me like Ron Paul that much more - he actually sees the difference between the current wave of neo-cons (the morality control squad, looking to set the world "right", laws and lives be damned) and the more traditional conservatives (war to defend and not to conquer, foreign policy to protect the nation's interests). Its too bad that Paul is instantly dismissed as a nutjob nationally. He saids some smart things, and might be the closest thing to a REAL conservative this election has to offer. I don't agree with him on a lot of things, but still, he is consistant.

I'm trying to remember the last time one of these wasn't staged to a "T". At a firehouse, hometown crowds, etc. Since he has even less experience than Obama, I am certain he won't receive much traction from the GOP loyalists who used that as a reason not to support Obama. BTW, before someone gets their panies in a bunch, I agree the lack of experience is troubling for a candidate regardless of party.
