Sorry to troll the GOP thread but this is hilarious. Poor guy.

Nice camera angle. Now you notice that the Dems can't get a camera angle like that, now can they (unless of course, it's a full place)?

Kap, I am thisclose to becoming a GOP faithful, tell me do they mail the tin foil hat or do I reach under the stall?

Prove my point wrong.

Brownback has no support, that's not a surprise. But it's amazing how the AP publishes that pic, and not a crowd shot for the lesser Dem candidates.

It is a funny picture, regardless.

And if they didn't cover his campaign at all, some would b****. I get it, they have to run a shot of a lesser Dem candidate right next to the Rep candidate. Of course then some would complain based on outer edge, below the fold, etc.

Cute answer... but you can't disprove what I'm saying. Thanks. Now let's move on.

Nor can you prove your claim.

The picture is linked in this thread. Pretty simple, actually.

And how many pictures do we have to find of Dems in small crowds to disprove your claim? One? Twenty one?

One will suffice. :D

That isn't proof of anything, other than the fact that Brownback is a marginal candidate. Do they really have to print a picture of a Mike Gravel crowd every time they print one of Brownback? I'd say you need a tinfoil hat, but it appears you already have one. :P

They don't even cover Gravel's campaign :lolhitting

Well, Fred has made it official. Not that anyone doubted it to begin with. Typical Hollywood liberal, trying to make a dramatic scene of it. Oh wait...

I actually agree with this statement. Going on Leno to offically launch your campaign is just asinine and describes to a "T" the demeaning manner in which the office of the president has been dragged down to. It drags down my view of Sen. Thompson quite a bit, actually. He's now my "favorite" GOP candidate, but what he did is so cheap and it really bothers me.

Good stuff between Ron Paul and Huckabee.

That was a great little debate there. Good to see some real debate on the matter. I cannot remember the last time the Republican party actually, publically, discussed an issue. Makes me like Ron Paul that much more - he actually sees the difference between the current wave of neo-cons (the morality control squad, looking to set the world "right", laws and lives be damned) and the more traditional conservatives (war to defend and not to conquer, foreign policy to protect the nation's interests).

Its too bad that Paul is instantly dismissed as a nutjob nationally. He saids some smart things, and might be the closest thing to a REAL conservative this election has to offer. I don't agree with him on a lot of things, but still, he is consistant.

I'm trying to remember the last time one of these wasn't staged to a "T". At a firehouse, hometown crowds, etc. Since he has even less experience than Obama, I am certain he won't receive much traction from the GOP loyalists who used that as a reason not to support Obama. BTW, before someone gets their panies in a bunch, I agree the lack of experience is troubling for a candidate regardless of party.

To paraphrase Obama:

Who had more experience than Cheney and Rumsfield and look what they did with the war on terror.

Best ever:

"I want you to know that also I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience." -during a 1984 presidential debate with Walter Mondale

:notworthy I do miss Reagan's quotes and smile.

Not sure what you mean, but you realize that Thompson served more years in the Senate than either Clinton, Obama, or Edwards, right?

Nope, I forgot. Thanks for reminding me.

Romney: No tax on investment gains (interest, dividends, cap gains) for income levels

I don't like Romney much, but I think he has a decent idea here.
