May 10, 200718 yr I usually don't buy memorabilia, but I may have to get one of these, granted there are some left when I try to order. Thanks for the link. Update: Just ordered one. I'm pumped. Thanks for the info, chaos.

May 10, 200718 yr QUOTE(ChiSox_Sonix @ May 10, 2007 -> 06:23 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> maybe im just being retarded but why does it have a 10 next to his #56? I'm guessing there are only 56 of them and that is the 10th one. The promotion code [670THESCORE] has already been entered.

May 11, 200718 yr QUOTE(BobDylan @ May 10, 2007 -> 10:47 PM) If only he did... what? He didn't? Dammit, it was probably a dream again.
May 11, 200718 yr Sorry...maybe it's just me...but the most I'd pay for that thing is MAYBE 20 bucks. I just don't see it as that big a piece of memorabilia. Hell...the front page of the newspaper or sportspage framed from that day is more cool IMO. It just looks and seems kinda cheesy. That's just me though...

Let's see, its from a pretty rare feat, a no-hitter, limited to 56 and on a black leather ball, I'm guessing it's probably worth more than 20, but to each his own.

I was at the game and the ball is going in a shadow box frame along with my game ticket and an 8 x 10 from that date. I would definitely qualify that as a "cool" piece of memorbilia. To each his own.
May 11, 200718 yr A bit steep already at 99.99, at 249.99 no way in hell. I kinda tend to somewhat agree with Wanne too, I'd much rather take my WS and All-Star game signed balls over a plain black leather ball with inscriptions.
May 11, 200718 yr Who would have thought I would order one, but I did I also got the deluxe acrylic case for it. Thanks for the link and the code chaos!
May 11, 200718 yr Author no prob. Glad I went to listen to the post game show and saw it. It's pretty sweet and a good price if you compare it to these others... http://www.steinersports.com/ssm/control/c...;lc=home_banner

May 11, 200718 yr Anyone notice the Steiner Sports website says the item will not ship until the end of June? Wonder why.

I like the fact that it's a limited series from an oustanding event, instead of "just" a signed ball like the others. I too noticed that it's not supposed to ship until June, yet the confirmation email didn't mention that. It's almost like you had to be looking for that little tid bit. I guess they ship him the balls, he signs them when he can, and ships them back. That's probably why they aren't immediately available.
