May 29, 200718 yr Ya, I doubt he's going to play in the majors. However, he's a decent fielder and either way I could give a hoot because I don't think Andy Gonzalez is a major leaguer either. It is kind of sad that this team doesn't have any type of position players it can call up that are even close to major league ready (well Fields may finally be there, but he doesn't have an open position at the moment) and BA and Sweeney are close (but again you have to wonder about BA just because of how many holes he has in his swing and well Sweeney already showed he wasn't quite ready (not good enough with the inside pitch yet).
May 29, 200718 yr Fields is hot right now. They should bring him up and stick him in LF. Even with no LF experience he'll be better than Craig Wilson and Wilson hasn't hit squat in a year. He's cold as ice. Then, when they trade Crede in July, Fields can just move in.
