By lots of runs, are we talking about the same amount he gave up while he was here runs?

Misplaced_Sox
Yay I am going to this game. Hopefully it doesnt rain. Do you think I should bring a chest protector and mask in case he gets wild?
Guest
Will Kenny Williams ever be fired or would that be racist?
Soxbadger
Why would he be fired?
Guest
Oh, I don't know...perhaps for trading away Chris B. Young? I wish we had a CF like that. Not one that goes down like Humpty Dumpty tumbling off the wall the first day he's back from his stint on the DL.
Soxbadger
Even if Chris Young makes the HOF, Williams will still be one of the best GM's that the White Sox have ever had. He puts together teams that win 90 games in back to back seasons, and 1 year of failure and people want him gone? What the hell has happened to White Sox fans. Soxbadger
First sentence, statement (ends with period). Second sentence, question (ends with question mark). Third sentence, statement (ends with period). Yes I know that using "what" suggests that I would want some sort of answer, but I already know what has happened. Anyways, care to elaborate on Williams should be fired. Last I checked he wasnt in the bullpen or hitting.

As much as some people on this board seem to pitch a tent when talking about Chris Young, KW shouldn't be fired for one move.
Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 11:40 PM) With all the s***ting you do on our players, I'm surprised if you own a toilet. I don't s*** on all our players. Right now, Sisco has terrible control and his velocity isn't quite what it's been advertised as. Probably because the organization wants him to sacrifice a little velocity for control but it doesn't work either way for him. I wish the best for Anderson, Floyd and Sisco, but I'm sure that two of those three won't, and can't, make any real impact on this organization and the question mark is Floyd who I'm rooting for, but skeptical about. With all the s***ting you do on me...I think you like me. Actually, I know you like me. Like you're coming around on Osvaldo. Ask if firing KW would be racist, and then bring up one bad move he's made in the past 3 years. Brilliant.
Gregory Pratt
I don't want KW gone, but he's made a wide array of bad moves in the last few years. Since we won the Series! And it all goes back to the Chris Young deal. It's a very different future for this organization if Young is still here.

It would obviously (although Young has a sub .300 OBP IIRC), but then you'd have to ask what the state of our rotation would be like if Vazquez wasn't there as well over the past couple of seasons. Would we have not traded Freddy, and not have Gio and Floyd in the minors dominating for instance?
Dick Allen
The only decent success Sisco has had in his career has been in KC's bullpen. I'm still not understanding how starting is going to make him better. I wouldn't give up on him though. He's so tall that when mechanics get screwed up, they really get screwed up and it takes a lot longer to return. He's a guy who may be brutal for a while, but 3,4 or 5 years from now might actually be pretty good. I just don't know where you hide him that long.
