June 30, 200322 yr Yuck...anytime I see the name "Rios" in the lineup, I cringe. SPECIFICALLY, when its at DH. Even as bad as he is hitting, Konerko vs. Rios is not much difference. I'd rather throw Konerko out there, hell, he CAN'T be this bad all of a sudden.
June 30, 200322 yr Bring up Gload, cut Rios, free up some AB's in Charlotte. Of course, now that I have said that for the tenth time, Rios will get three hits tonight.
July 1, 200322 yr Big chance for Garland to prove that he can be a consistent winner. Yep, and with this team that means *choke time*.
July 1, 200322 yr Yep, and with this team that means *choke time*. Yep, and with this team that means *choke time*. The pesimistic prediction usually turns out to be correct when it involves the Sox.
July 1, 200322 yr A Willie Harris triple and an Aaron Rowand single starts the scoring for the Sox 1-0.
July 1, 200322 yr That was a beautiful leadoff triple by Harris to end up scoring the first run of the game.
July 1, 200322 yr And SURPRISE....Rios K's on 3 pitches if I'm not mistaken... Yah 3 pitches, I have no problem with him getting PT but hitting in the 5 hole? MANUEL...WHAT A GUY
July 1, 200322 yr And shoulda been back to back, with Val, right? looked like Jose just missed YET AGAIN!!
July 1, 200322 yr And shoulda been back to back, with Val, right? looked like Jose just missed YET AGAIN!! shoulda, coulda, woulda....it's still an out.
July 1, 200322 yr WEll, when the outfielder goes over the wall to bring one back, its still an almost Homer, and its still an out, so we are both correct? And we will avoid a 5 page pissing contest!!!
July 1, 200322 yr shoulda, coulda, woulda....it's still an out. True, but it was out of the yard. Hunter brought it back in the park.
