Didn't somebody here at Soxtalk have a major stiffy for the Sox to get Gibbons a year or two ago? I wish I could remember who it was.

I don't care if we win or lose, but this is a big start for Garland. All this talk about some shoulder problems will continue to get louder if he goes out and gets shelled again. That will only kill his trade value now or during the offseason.

Looks like Garland's picking up where he left off. If his shoulder's making him this ineffective, put him on the DL.
