AM 1000 is reporting Toriie Hunter's reaction to being told the Sox acquired Everett tonight as, "Really? We (the Twins) were hoping if we didn't get those guys (alomar and Everett) that they would at least go to the NL."

ESPN BBTN with Gammons, Reynolds and Valentine were singing the Sox praises. They all agreed the AL Central belongs to the White Sox. You know those guys on BBTN have really grown on me. They are a lot wiser now than what I remember from last month.

I'd have to agree with you all. If the Sox don't win the Central, surely JM will be history. The front office has addressed the needs of the team. It's up to JM now.
