November 14, 200718 yr Yeah I'd rather Jones for 1 or 2 years over getting into a long - term deal with Rowand or Hunter. I doubt it will happen, but it's a possibility, and one the Sox should be looking into. There's no doubt he struggled last season for whatever reason, but he was one of the better hitters in baseball a couple of seasons ago.
