ON history channel starting at 8 pm, anyone else going to watch it?

I am ...they say George Lucas has done the animation for this show. Looks to be interesting.

Yes, I'm watching it. Another show I like to watch on the History Channel is The Universe. I just bought the first season of it.

A frightening number of faculty in my department keep showing up in that series...

I just did as well! The Universe is just awesome- I hope they have enough material to reach a season 3, because season 2 has been great. They usually have quite a few episodes up on On Demand on Comcast, so it's what I watch to fall asleep to every night. But it is honestly a great show.

As for Life After People, I'm excited to see it to- going to catch the replay of it tonight in HD.

The History Channel just keeps getting better and better programming, which is great news, because it's an awesome channel.

:headbang :notworthy

I'd love to be around 1,000 years after humans.

I enjoyed "Life After People." I liked how they used examples of similar changes that are already going on in the world (towns around Chernobyl, etc).

It shocked me that people were walking around in that town without radiation suits!

That surprised me as well. I watched a documentary that was film just a couple years ago and I know they mentioned that in order to get permission to film they had to be in suits and have portable geiger-counters (sp?).
