Heads, where are you at with the b-day PBP?

Not nearly as bad as somebody a few days ago picking Paul Konerko.

I mean, the chances of predicting someone to hit for the cycle is pretty impossible as it is. But if you're going to get a shot at a million bucks, AT LEAST give yourself a snowball's chance in hell. Pick Roberto...or Jose...or hell, even Magglio.

I'll probably be leaving towards the middle of the game...

HUGE! Alomar is a badass

Welcome to town, Mr. Alomar. :cheers

2-0 Sox. Let's keep the pressure on this guy. C'mon Jose.

Great Roberto!!! 2 run single to right. :headbang Cmon Jose!

SB for Robbie?? ;)

Doh, Alomar CS. But, he gets a big 2 out, bases loaded single to get the Sox on the board.

End of 1 and a half, Sox lead it 2-0.

f***, CBS pbp showed that he had stolen...

Robbie is good.

Too bad he got caught stealing though. Oh well.

Well it isnt really his fault for getting caught stealing... the coach is the one who gives them the signal.. he just didnt get it this time

No biggie Sox got the lead

I think there's as many Sox fans there as there are DRays fans.

It was his first CS of the season...

f***, CBS pbp showed that he had stolen...

CBS Sportsline sometimes screws up. They told me before that Paul LoDuca got a save.

Top of 2

-Everett reaches on error by Anderson

-Steals second

-Lee Ks looking

-Daubach walks

-Crede walks

-Olivo Ks swinging

-Alomar 2 run single

-Alomar caught stealing

2-0 WHITE SOX

*Robbie 3-7 with 2 RBI

*walks cost Mr.WALK

I would hate for my hometown team to be the Devil Rays...

They are NEVER going to be good EVER...

I just dont see it happening, no one wants to play there and they wont pay big bucks for people.. things will be ugly in TB for a long time

You tip your hat to the catcher for throwing you out. The same happens if the pitcher strikes you out by throwing a pitch on the black or if you get a hit on a good pitcher's pitch.

You can't win 'em all. Sometimes, you just get beat by someone playing better.

Didn't they try to get the Sox to move there 10-15 years ago?

mlb gameday seems pretty dependable to me

I don't think so. They have a very, very good manager in Lou Piniella.

I'm sure you could have said the same thing about the Mariners in the early 90s. Now their one of the best teams in the league year in and year out. Sweet Lou put Seattle on the map, and Sweet Lou will also put Tampa Bay on the map.

Bottom of 2

-Lee pops out to short

-Rolls lines out to Carl

-Anderson grounds out to Alomar
