And yes, I'm basing my opinion on Uribe being much better defensively than Ramirez. I still believe that defense is more important than offense. Of course, I consider pitching as part of the defense.

Say what you will about the Sox having a barren system...that's an awful lot of payroll flexibility if they all turn out.l That's VERY encouraging to say the least. Not only cheap contracts...but guys with a ton of talent as well as upside IMO. I guess that's my problem having guys like Juan, Crede and Dye still around. If we're not really contending...I'd like to see the younger guys playing.
