Soxtalk New Baby updates

Featured Replies

A few of us have had new babies enter our lives in the past few months. Sure they've taken our important time away from posting here (unless you are SS2k5 who has a laptop on the changing table), but we should be able to share more of our happy time with you our Soxtalk family.

My Son, Thomas, is 3 1/2 months old now and he is a chunk. He is already sleeping through the night and eating rice cereal once a day.

Here is his latest mugshot from his recent DUI arrest:

Steff? Mike? anyone else?

Well she isn't that new, she'll be 2 in June. But we get to experience new things all the time. Throwing herself backwards when you're holding her. Kicking the floor in a tantrum. Kicking you in the boys if you're pushing a shopping cart. Good times.

I will also take this time to annnounce she will be a big sister...I have no pic as of yet...In fact, I'm not even supposed to say anything, but really I'm just telling you guys

both of your kids are absolutely adorable. Chaos, i assume you are prepared for trouble in the teen years like I am? ;)

My daughter just lost her two front teeth so she wont let me take her picture.

I'm comfortable in my assumption that all of the good looks came from the Moms' end of the gene pool.

Cute kiddos there!

I'm not prepared in the least. In fact, I'm outright scared out of my mind.

Cute pics Mike. How did Maddy handle the new one?

Surprisingly well actually. We were really worried, because she was the first grandkid for both sides of the family, and frankly pretty fond of the attention that status brought her. We really tried to include her into things, but also not to force her to do anything. It took a while before she wanted to participate, but now she has really warmed up to her sister. There is still some jealous streaks, but in general, she gives us more problems with typical two year old stuff, than she does to do with her sister.

This picture is about 3 months old now, doesn't really look like this anymore.

Hello.jpg

We just took some of the (nearly) world famous child in blue bonnets pictures (it's a Texas thing). When I get them off the camera, I'll post them.
