im pretty impressed with guthrie...hes got a good arm and seems like he knows how to pitch

I'm worried he's going to plunk one of our hitters on the wrist.

nice play by OC

Gavin Freaking Floyd, are you kidding me?

GFF!

12 up, 12 down for Floyd. Heading to the 5th, 2-0 Sox.

37 pitches through 4 for gavin....27 for strikes....thatll get it done

One of these days, people will start to trust Kenny around here

Gavin Floyd, Danks, Swisher, Cabrera, Linebrink, Dotel, Nick Masset, Joe Crede etc etc

chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

Re-signing Uribe

Uribe is so unbelievably bad, he's getting worse seemingly in every at bat.

i know we are the main reason for verlanders high ERA and we always rock him....cle and det's aces are both really struggling...uribe stinks btw

great at-bat there for uribe. profundo! no! it's a three-pitch K!

Juan-O-Meter
.156 and dropping

well i hate to say it but .. its what i expected out of Floyd. If someone was to ask before the season what two young pitching duos would do better Kennedy/Hughes or Floyd/Danks, 80% would have probably went with the yanks. It is just nice to see Floyd showing why he was so highly ranked. I also like players that people always put the "down" on so I was hoping Floyd would really show what he was made of.

Guthrie keeping his team in it, this could get scary later on.

Sox offense really needs to pick it up.

Re-signing Uribe

Wow, Mr Positive true to his form :lolhitting

Obviously, the fact that we had no choice at that pont but to re-sign Uribe is lost on an ignoramus like you; the fact that Cabrera was available after Uribe was re-signed; and the fact that Kenny did what he had to do to get OCab; Uribe is a back up IF or a #9 batter with very good D at 2B for us....not the end of the world; unless it is you of course

very good job by randy marsh behind the plate so far...normally i bash the umpires in here, so im gonna give some credit...hes been solid back there

It would almost fun to have a winning team with a player batting under .100. Maybe we could DH for the SS and let the Pitcher bat. It might work just as well.
