No one even attempting to hit the ball the other way. They are looking to pull everything. Some things never change.

Cabrera continues to make way too many soft outs on first pitches. In an ideal offense, he'd be the #9 hitter. Plain and simple, this offense isn't good enough to compete this season, especially with Ozzie calling the shots.

 

But, they are convinced he is the perfect #2 guy

If only everyone could hit like Toby Hall. 9 more outs to score some runs. If they lose this one I won't be too positive about the 2nd game. That said, how about another 1-2-3 for Danks.

 

Trachsel's one of the worst pitchers in baseball. If we struggle against him, the team should just quit.

Who else thinks nothing will change until Kenny, Ozzie, and/or Walk are gone? I don't see why I should expect anything different.

Danks struggling with the 2 strike hits the past 2 innings. He might be tiring, similar to how he did in Cleveland.

Great Macdougal is up. We should try to unload him to the Brewers. They need alot of bullpen help.

The offense has been sliding the last couple years. We can hit the bomb, but not for average. Hall might now be over the Mendoza line, as least for one more at bat, but we have several under the line and some other closing down fast

So we had the bad second half of 06 when the offense shut down, then the complete collapse in 07, and now the worst BA in the American league. Maybe we can have some more great pieces in the Suntimes from the director of Whitesox marketing "Joe Cowley" about how Greg is the best hitting coach in baseball.

I was thinking that before...I almost feel bad for Ozzie having to write those 3 names down in succession. However, it's his fault for those roster decisions he's made.

Walker should be fired just on the simple fact that we see this every f***ing time a soft tossing left hander is on the mound and we constantly get owned by them. You would think management would get sick of seeing the same s*** every f***ing time.

Judging by attendance, any benefits of that WS are gone. It's time to get that excitement surrounding the organization back. Thankfully, they can't take away the WS banner or my DVDs.

If PK doesn't bobble that, it's a double play (I know Millar was running, but he's slow as hell). The opposition is getting well placed hits because they're using the whole field.

You're right, the Yanks were doing it and now it's the O's. It really is frustrating. I don't recall, was it happening in the previous series?
