What do you think of tonight's batting order?

Featured Replies

I do not ever want to see Thome batting 3rd for this team again. Unless, of course, he becomes the .285/40 HR/1.000 OPS version of Jim Thome.

I didnt want to start a whole thread about it, but I would look at signing Kenny Lofton to a minor league deal if I was KW. His OBP has been fairly steady over the years and could add a decent presence to the top of our lineup. Right now our leadoff hitters have been some of the worst in the majors.

I stated before the season even started I wanted Thome in the 5th spot. Of course, I didn't have Q in that spot. I had Swish 3rd.

That's where we're a little mixed. Are we trying to win now? Holding and hoping? Building? I thought we were trying to win now.

Another great game for AJ PIERZYNSKI, he must like that number 2 spot.

Where the hell can you play him? That's the biggest problem of it all. The Sox outfield is completely full.

His addition to the lineup would be nice, but I'm not about to bench Konerko/Thome/Swisher for Lofton. And I doubt Lofton's ego will allow him to sign on as a 4th outfielder.
