Josh Hamilton is absolutely amazing. 5-5, triple, 2 homers, 5 RBI

Lance Berkman too. What a year this guy is having...1280 OPS.

i give you credit...you said it this offseason even before the rangers got him...we should have pursued him...and you were dead correct, i remember discussing that we might have had to give up danks for him...i wonder if that woulda gotten it done...either way fautino + gio probably would have, as you have said a few times the last week or so

He had a good week today.

Oh damn I forgot Uribe was sitting today and I saw Alexei on that DP, I was like damn Uribe has lost a lot of weight.

I might be a good thing Alexei was out there. Uribe might have had to come off the bag to get that throw from Gavin.

Gavin looks better at the plate than a couple of our hitters.

Hopefully we don't have to deal with that 8-9-1 in an inning ever again. Hopefully Ozuna gets the call at 2nd tomorrow against Zito.

its not like 5,6,7 have been anything good lately either...though crede has been ok offensively as of late...but some power would be nice

But at least you have some hope the 5/6/7 might do something.

I just noticed how similar the stats are this season for Miguel Cabrera and Joe Crede.

Why is it that every single pitcher looks weird when batting? Remember Mike Sirotka? James Baldwin? Jaime Navarro? ...Jim Parque?

while we are talking about that rangers astros game....a 10-8 game is about what i expected when i saw that the pitching matchup was ponson vs. chacon

Gavin has no command of his offspeed pitches. I don't know how long he can keep up this magic. This is very similar to what happened in Seattle last weekend.

Gavin looking kind of shaky out there tonight..

Can't see Gavin lasting much longer than 5 with the innings he's been having.

Not a very good at bat for Molina. Get us started AJ!

On a side note: Josh Hamilton 5 for 5 with 5rbi's and a double away from a cycle, man is this kid wicked.

Without his best stuff tonight, Gavin is battling them.

Ducksnorts...yes
