It's not about being optimistic/pessimistic. It's about people posting stuff that is ridiculously overblown and exaggerated. It makes the site look laughable.

 

Come on, seeing Jeff Liefer brought up made me laugh. We've heard Owens, Getz, Fields, Eldred, and Wise...but that might be the first one for Liefer.

I'm just going to hope the Sox losing tonight brings out dumb, irrational posts from people, or some of the posts in this thread are unreal.

 

You mean the ones trying to release men who are obviously hurt and have large amounts of money owed to them. Or the ones predicting the death of the sox because Mark had a bad night.

Toby!!! That was impressive. BTW, Josh Hamilton just hit a grand slam. I really wish I could know if they would have traded him for Gio, DLS, and Sweeney.

This offense needs to score more than a couple of runs. We can't expect the pitchers throw shutouts everytime.
