July 12, 200817 yr Its kind of a sad day, when the Yankees need to sign a scrub like Eric Milton in hopes of finding an answer to their pitching woes. I guess this is what you get when you invest in Carl Pavano and Jaret Wright to be serious contributors on your staff.
July 12, 200817 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 06:11 PM) I'll never understand why more teams didn't go after Harden. Why'd the A's give him up? Some in baseball must know something about that arm, stay tuned.
July 12, 200817 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 07:11 PM) I'll never understand why more teams didn't go after Harden. When he gets hurt in a few weeks (if not sooner) you will. It was a risk worth taking for the Cubs with the package they were able to pull this off for, but Harden has made Mark Prior look like a tough guy during the vast majority of his career. Lol I wouldn't go that far, but Harden does get injured every year. Prior and Pavano are about as bad as it gets... throw Hampton on that list too...
July 13, 200817 yr I thought the Yanks also had Ponson throwing the pearl for em. Slam dunk of a pitching staff. Edited July 13, 200817 yr by ChiSox35
