Detroit has the worst offense, defense, and pitching in the majors....and they hold us to ONE f***ing run. This team is f***ing bush. July 9, 200322 yr To lose another low scoring game to a team like this is bulls***. I mean sleepwalk if you want, White Sox, but win it 3-2, not lose 2-1. Let's face it. Our team has no heart. We've lost three of four to Rays and Det now after getting excited about playing some good teams. At least Rowand got 2 more hits. He's becoming one of my favorite Sox. For some reason I get the feeling he cares. Maybe I'm wrong.

July 9, 200322 yr this team is schizo, it throws everyone off balance and shocks them into anger/jubilation. they sleepwalk through the first 2 1/2 months, and everyone is sure they are done, look to next year etc. then they go on a roll and dominate the cubs and twins at the eleventh hour when they absolutely had to, make some trades, voila they're back in it, divison, pennant, WORLD SERIES maybe. then this, 3 losses in 4 games to two cellar-dwellars. granted it is only a fraction of the season, but it couldn't have come at a worse time. they really need to make up their minds.
July 9, 200322 yr Hopefully Rowand will teach some Sox brass that getting 2 hits a game is better than stacking your lineup with .250 hitters who are slow as all hell and hit an occasional homer. (Mostly I'm just pissed cuz I really hate Carlos Lee when he gets these rookie type slumps and its his 4th season).

We lose to Tampa Bat 4-3 and 3-2 in games we should have won. we beat them 11-3 and then go to Detroit and have the wheels stolen from us losing 2-1. How can a team with the supposed power of the Sox lose 3 one run low scoring games to teams like the Tigers and D-Rays? We were just at the point of celebrating what many of us thought was a turnaround and then more jubilation over adding more fuel to the team in Alomar and Everett. It's time to round up the usual suspects. Konerko is 0-7 in his last two games and GIDP tonight. He hasn't benen playing much lately for good cause, but still seems intent on catching Ordonez in the GIDP race. Lee most likely can't remember to hit to right and everyone is swinging for the fences. I see the team rolled over into 4 DP's tonight. It is so pathetic to see the Tigers and D-Rays with players hitting for a higher average than the Sox. Pitchers who come out of nowhere for the sole purpose in life to shut the Sox down & our hitters let them. I don't think they can make the adjustments needed to drive in the big run unless it's with a homerun swing.

They're too worried about voting for a guy that left an AllStar Game early a few years back because he had better things to do The "VOTE THOMAS" threads are getting f***ing redundant. I like Thomas as much as the next guy, but look at how this guy treated the AllStar Game when the fans were voting for him. Now it's something special for him since it's in USCF? Gimme a break.
