how about Gil Meche from KC. He's pitching very well right now and i'm sure KC wouldn't mind getting rid of his salary. He kind of reminds me of a Vasquez type pitcher, a guy who has all the stuff in the world but never really dominates in the W/L column. He has the power arm that KW likes and probably wouldn't cost the farm system to get him. I know it's the time of year where everyone throws out trade scenarios and possible acquisitions so i'm throwing out Meche.................................. or Burnett.

There's still $38.663M left on Meche's deal. Um, no thanks.

Hopefully, under the radar guy...there is a chair, because it'd be cruel to make him stand there holding that gun the whole game without one.

On the note about KC pitchers- Ron Mahay? 1.8 ERA out of the pen...

They're not interested in trading him because Mahay still has a year left. Why buy high on a 37 year old?
