It would be nice to break open a 6-7 run lead and wear out the Angel bullpen for the weekend. The Sox NEED this game and hope to beat Lackey tomorrow because Saunders/Richard is basically a forfeit on Sunday.

 

I still don't know why you don't put Egbert on the roster. Can't be a service time issue, the guy is 26 or so.

Soscia is dopey sometimes. They have a 17 game lead and he's going to burn his bullpen in a game he's clearly going to have a hard time to win.

Actually, he's been a decent reliever over the course of his career, but he's failed multiple times as a starter.
