Blue Jays @ White Sox 7:11 9/11 CSN+

It's just the definition. I believe "close and late" has to be within 3 runs. That homer came when the Sox were down by 4.

God, just why did we have to use Ehren?

Alexi.........Rally killer. It was a fun inning though!

Hitters are batting about .380 vs Ramirez since he's been on the Sox. Carrasco coming in now...too bad we let Wassermann and his 84 mph come in last inning.

Consider this about the White Sox down the stretch.

DeWayne Wise (career minor leaguer) is our starting LFer

DJ Carrasco (KC Royal cast off) is our principal RH set up man.

And "Carlos Quentin (career injury-prone guy) was our starting RFer for 5 months".

So what's your point?

Make the playoffs and we have a 25% chance of going. Make the WS and we're probably the favorites.

All I wanted was to have a chance in the 9th.

Logan coming in with the bases loaded? s***, Ozzie sent this one in a while ago.

Quiet, don't tell Ozzie that Carrasco is better against lefties than righties.

    So what's your point?

Ummm, that the current Sox lineup can't be expected to compete like the Sox lineup of June? And thus the fact that the Sox are in first place is meaningless because it's just a matter of time before the superior Twins lineup overtakes the Sox?

    Maybe something like that?

Amazing how he can be simply amazing on a play and then be brutal

Quentin has been hurt for what now, a week, and the Twins haven't made up any ground (maybe a half game) and the Twins have a 10 game roady coming up.

Maybe not something like that then, huh?

I actually want to see Hall pinch hit for AJ not because of his splits, but it prevents AJ from hacking at the first pitch by the wild BJ Ryan

    BOONE MANS UP!

Maybe that will get him some more confidence down the road.

Maybe he'll take a HBP on the elbow guard?

    Good call me

Not too much of a fan of Canada as I've been there twice and it was pointless, but I love these hats.
