OC down on strikes. two outs.

He'd call the scorer on the K if it was possible.

Inning. It's becoming pretty clear that we have to hope someone on the Sox just runs into one, and that Gavin throws a shutout.

Wise flies to center to end the inning. We really are going to need the bats to get going down the stretch here.

Yep, and hope that our defense doesn't give them a run.

Granted, I'm listening on the radio, but by my count the Sox have "just missed' a HR 3 times already this game.

Exactly. We're getting close to some homers, but looking pretty ugly if not. We need to actually connect on some of them, ha.

Pop out to Wise in LF.

Pop out to Wise in LF.

Two pop outs to LF?

Ground out, easy 1-2-3 for Gavin. It looks like a lot of the Blue Jays are trying to go yard.

50 pitches for Gavin through 4. With 2 errors behind him. That's an excellent pitch rate for him, which is one of those things he's struggled with at times this seaosn.

The Blue Jays hired Greg Walker?

They've been around our team too much this week.

I guess to me that means the Sox are close, and not as clueless as "having to run into one".

You hit enough of them hard, a few will find the seats.

But, those three "almost" homers were probably the only three balls hit even relatively hard (or hit at all).

JD with a leadoff single. Lets get it going Thome.

Lead off single by Dye.

thome's goatee is looking good tonight.

I find it funny that they just gave a breakdown of Thome's "hits to the OF." Has Thome had an infield hit all year?

Thome K's looking.

Thome goes down looking.

He's rolled a few down the 3B line when they do the Thome defensive shift.

s***, I have to go. Sorry, knight, kj's gotta take over.

Does anyone have or can anyone get a statistic of how many times we've struck out looking? I wonder if it leads the league.
