When was the last time two countries settled their differences by having a debate? When was the last time the President did anything via debate?

 

So in the end the debates are probably more harm than good. It falsely gives value to a skill that a President will not use.

I'm not sure if you consider me a Democrat or not, but earlier I said something to the effect of McCain being better than Obama in unscripted town hall type settings. Which is why McCain does everything that way.
