Using the autoclose function, (and no fair Mods looking), I set the timer to lock this thread at some point today.

Keeping as much of the lakefront open as Chicago did was brilliant, and we can thank Mr. Burnham for that.

New Comiskey Park should have been built in the south loop instead of Bridgeport.

I'll admit as much as I disliked the aesthetics of the naming rights, and what we all predicted for the new nickname, I have grown to love "The Cell".

The renovations at the Cell have made it one of the top half dozen ballparks in the country.

There are fantastic bargains for condos in Chicago.

It was cool for a while that the tallest building in the world was in Chicago.

If the Spire gets off of the ground, Chicago will again have the tallest building in the US, along with the 3rd tallest, assuming that the WTC project is done as well.
