I have three kids, so dirty shoes on our carpert might be an improvement. I only encourage people to remove them if they just came in out of the snow or something.

 

I always take mine off at others' houses, but I take my slippers with me.

When we're loading the kids up to go to someone's house it's very easy to throw my slippers in the diaper bag. Most of my friends do the same when they come to our house.

 

It's especially nice when you're hanging out in the basement with the cold concrete floor under the carpeting.

 

I ask everyone to remove their shoes and their pants. I keep a clean house.

Ever needed to take your shoes off at someone's home or at the airport and let's just say you're not wearing your best pair of socks??
