Look at the W-S lineup that Danks hits in. the rest of them are pretty bad. They are probably pitching around Danks, and he hasn't yet figured out how to lay off. That is, IMO, probably a main reason for his high walk and k totals (14 of his 27 PA).

April 15, 200917 yr Author Egbert would be the best bet right now to replace MacDougal or Carrasco...just when you think DJ is about to lose it and implode completely, he sneaks out of the situation somehow, and pretty consistently.
