May 15, 200916 yr I think the Sox will ask him to appeal regardless, just to give the team an opportunity to get Anderson back and CQ healthy before he sits out. It will be reduced to 1 game anyways.
May 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 15, 2009 -> 02:14 PM) This will give us a couple of games to try Lillibridge in right field. Hilarious. I say just plug him in at the 4 hole too, seems about right.
May 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 15, 2009 -> 02:14 PM) This will give us a couple of games to try Lillibridge in right field. Actually, odds are it'll be Nix.
May 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (BearSox @ May 15, 2009 -> 02:45 PM) Actually, odds are it'll be Nix. We can only hope. And if Anderson is back, it will probably be him. It SHOULD be, left to right, Nix/Pods-Anderson-Quentin with Dye out, but likely Ozzie will put Pods in center, TCQ in left and Anderson in right.
May 15, 200916 yr Author Per the White Sox Twitter, JD is appealing his suspension and will be in the lineup tonight.
May 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 15, 2009 -> 03:20 PM) Per the White Sox Twitter, JD is appealing his suspension and will be in the lineup tonight. Good, with the OF potentially back intact this weekend, we need to get our wheels under us again.
May 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 15, 2009 -> 03:20 PM) Per the White Sox Twitter, JD is appealing his suspension and will be in the lineup tonight. Good choice.
May 15, 200916 yr If it takes a week or two for the appeal to go through that's a huge benefit to the team. Play JD every day, make those his 2 rest days.
May 16, 200916 yr I can't link because the computer I'm on sucks, but Chicagosports.com is implying that Anderson won't be activated until this series is over. Nothing like waiting 4 games...I wonder if Lillicurse sneaks into the lineup again.
