May 27, 200916 yr QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ May 26, 2009 -> 08:48 PM) If the Sox played in a pitcher's park in the NL he'd be here already. Which makes one wonder why he'd want to pitch in Wrigley, which is definitely NOT a pitcher's park in the summer.
May 27, 200916 yr QUOTE (sox1844 @ May 26, 2009 -> 08:42 PM) I don't know... just by talking to other fans, listening to different media outlets, I just get the impression that Ozzie is an absolute clown, the total laughingstock of baseball. I mean, I'm just wondering what the feeling is inside the business rather than just fans. I was just wondering if you actually knew of any player who openly loves Ozzie, rather than just NOT bashing him. Know what I'm saying? You just never know the inside stories ... I just wonder if Ozzie wasn't at the helm if we would have had a better chance at Peavy. The media outlets who think Ozzie is a clown are the out of town ones who are too stupid to realize that they are tools in the game of motivating his players. Ozzie is very calculated in his meltdowns, you do notice that they never happen when things are going good, right?

I'll tell you this much, I personally respect the hell out of him. I think he knows exactly what he is doing and why he is doing it at all times.

It would be more accurate to say he "acts like", which is about the same with most people. How they act and how the are, often times can be different.
