Twins - not so much because of the team and fans, but because they are natural division rivals, I hate their s***ty dome, the way our team plays in it, and the way Hawk sucks off s***ty Carlos Gomez-esque players.

Cubs - I don't actually hate the team that much, but being from Chicago I hate Cubs fans and their unwarranted s***-talking so much. I like when the team loses because it makes it easier for me to laugh them off. When the Sox are winning and Cubs are losing, naturally you never hear s***.

Red Sox - Thank you ESPN for vaulting the formerly irrelevant Red Sox onto my hate radar. I don't mind the team so much, but the fans get so much coverage and attention and it's just nauseating. I hate the Patriots for the same reason too, but at least Red Sox fans have always been Red Sox fans and not beginning in 2004, like how probably 50% of Patriots fans didn't even know Boston had a football team before 2001 and Brady.

Yankees - I used to hate the Yankees but I don't as much anymore, s*** they have 26 titles so their fans kind of have a right to that superiority complex. It's more of a token hate now, driven by ESPN (which I don't watch anymore). Their massive payroll and imbalance of free agency every single year irks me but any other GM would do the same thing with those resources.

Are you going to hate the Orioles when your son becomes a fan of theirs?

I actually kind of like the Orioles. My son has tons of Sox gear though.

I dont really "hate" any teams...but there are teams that piss me off more than others...usually they have players that destroy the Sox.

For instance, any team Jason Bartlett is on. That guy just destroys the Sox. My butt cheeks were clenched so tight last night in the 9th because Bartlett usually finds a way to beat the Sox, but luckily, Jenksy threw him a nasty out pitch.

Okay, I'll bite. Why the Pirates? Is it because their suckitude has been so helpful to the Cubs winning percentage over the past 15 plus years?

I was pleased to see I really wasn't inclined to hate the Cubs (the fans do annoy me though). I only chose the Twins (the dome), although I probably overlooked the Red Sox (the fans and ESPN as well).

I wish the A's were on the list. Between them and the Twins, I can't tell you how many agitated, sleepless nights I have had watching to White Sox blow leads late at those respective ballparks. Staying up until midnight to watch those types of endings made me developed a strong dislike for either of those franchises.

I'm jealous of their ballpark and that Sunday game against Jenks certainly didn't do me any favors.

In order

1. Cubs

2. Red Sox

3. Tigers

4. Twins

It's embarrassing that more people hate the Cubs than any of our division rivals.

I couldn't disagree more. If the question was "who is it most important loses", I would answer whatever divisional rival is alongside us in the race, such as this year where the answer would be Detroit and Minnesota. But that's not the question, the question is hate. And the only two organzations in baseball I currently find hateable are the Red Sox and Cubs because of their idiotic fans. The only team in our division I find close to hateable is the Tigers because of the fact they represent Detroit, but they aren't good enough for me to hate them. I moreso just laugh at them, and will again this year when they collapse down the stretch.
