July 22, 200322 yr I believe Halladay was the scheduled starter today for the Jays against the Yankees and that game was rained out. So I believe Halladay might and actually probably will start tommorow night.

July 22, 200322 yr Bring it! I want to see this lineup against the best pitchers. Good pitching usually beats good hitting. And our good hitting only comes in 2 week spurts. MB needs to add on to that career best consecutive win streak for us to have a chance against Halladay, if he is indeed pitching, tomorrow.

MB needs to add on to that career best consecutive win streak for us to have a chance against Halladay, if he is indeed pitching, tomorrow. That's what i'm saying. I want to see if this team can matchup against some of the better pitchers in the league. I'm sick of seeing them against Cleveland and Detroit and wondering whether the sox's bats have come alive or whether the tigers and indians pitching staffs are that bad. I look forward to the challenge and I hope the Sox do too.
July 23, 200322 yr I look forward to the challenge and I hope the Sox do too. They should. Toronto isn't a bottom feeder and there is usually a decent sized crowd at the SkyDome
July 23, 200322 yr Bring on Halladay. If we're for real we gotta beat guys like this anyway. Plus we've got the hottest pitcher in baseball goin tomorrow
July 23, 200322 yr Author Bring on Halladay. If we're for real we gotta beat guys like this anyway. Plus we've got the hottest pitcher in baseball goin tomorrow I think Halladay is a little bit hotter. When was the last time he lost?
July 23, 200322 yr Great test for us at this time. Let's see if we can suck it up and bag a big victory or get 4 hits and lose.
July 23, 200322 yr I think Halladay is a little bit hotter. When was the last time he lost? April 15 @ NYY.
July 23, 200322 yr More than 3 months. No problem You could look at it one of 2 ways...either we're f***ed, or he's due for a loss. I vote for the latter.

July 23, 200322 yr So the question is who would you rather see, Roy Halliday or some AAA soft tossing RHP that the Jays call up at the last minute to face the Sox? (And death is not an option)
