Honestly, there are quite a few teams in the NFC with at least an outside shot at the playoffs this season.

Philadelphia

Minnesota

Atlanta

Arizona

Green Bay

New York

Dallas

Chicago

Washington

New Orleans

Carolina

Seattle

San Francisco

. . .

Detroit

St Louis

Tampa Bay

...are about the only ones that don't.

True. I think I'd leave San Francisco out of it, but I agree on the rest.

I don't hold much hope for Washington either.

I included them because I've heard a few people thinking that they could be a surprise team this year.

Yeah, they play in the wrong division.

They always manage to look interesting on paper before the regular season starts, though.

They sure do have a lot of talent on paper, especially on offense.

Not to get into a fantasy discussion, but I'm definitely high on the Gore/Coffee combo. Also drafted Josh Morgan in both of my leagues. I'll never trust Vernon Davis again, but I could see him exploding if he gets his head screwed on.

It's a shame about the Crabtree situation, though.
