Penny isn't past, but it's scary how bad he was in the AL and how he's suddenly rejevunated in the NL, with like a 1 week layoff. Peavy is legit as s*** though. So long as he's healthy and has a fastball in the 94 MPH territory, he'll be fine.

Penny's stuff has fallen off considerably since he was the starting pitcher for the NL in the all-star game.
