Team hit leaders

Featured Replies

Wow. That was really hard. I got 59. The hardest ones are the newer teams that haven't been around forever.

They should really give you more time for that. Almost impossible to get more than 70 or so...I got 51, and obviously missed plenty I knew, but still very difficult.

I've never even heard of Cap Anson, the Cubs number 1 hit leader.

46.. Needs way more time than that though.

If I recall correctly, Cap Anson played in the 1800's. Not that I was around back then.

I got 74. If I had 2 more minutes I would have gotten 80.

No one has gotten over 101 because the time runs out too quickly.

He's actually one of the most important figures in early baseball history. I learned a lot about him from a class I took in college.

I might be mistaken, but wasn't he even more instrumental in segregation of the major leagues than Judge Landis?

Yeah, importance doesn't always correlate to positives.

He also was one of the first "superstars" of the game and was an extremely popular and influential player.

76. I didn't really have a major time issue, my problem was there are a lot of lesser known players on the board, not just on the newer teams either.
