Pew did a phone survey asking people to answer twelve questions about current events.

Nearly two-thirds of those surveyed got 6 or less correct out of 12.

12/12 b****es. Top 2%!!!!!!!!!

12/12. Hardest one was knowing who the chairman of the Senate finance committee is, and the exact troop levels in Afghanistan, but I happened to be watching CNN last night after Obama's speech where they said his increase would bring it to 100k.

If you are older than 16 and don't know who the majority is in Congress at any given time you need to be sent back to the 8th grade.

Also not surprising that the regular posters in the Filibuster are a bunch of know-it-alls

the majority of the posts in here probably make no sense to most people. Like a rant about Barney Frank; most people in the general public would have no idea who that is, but here he has 100% name recognition.

a friend of mine told me that Frank's staff is all handsome young guys that look like Abercrombie models. lol, more power to him, I would do the same thing and hire a bunch of busty young interns if I thought I could get away with it.

Not entirely true. But probably pretty accurate.

Well I'm sure not ALL of them are young guys but the friend used to work over at Treasury and had to deal with his staff all the time. I lol'd when he told me that. It just sounds so bold.

Meh, i screwed up the Afghanistan question b/c I selectively remembered (or mis-remembered) a number Obama said last night.

Whether that was an M and M or not is still up for debate.

I didn't know that one off the top of my head, but I remembered Obama saying there would be 100k after the troop increase so that'd mean 70k currently.

11/12, I f***ed up the Afghanistan one because I thought it was asking how many troops Obama was adding. I should get more off for not even reading the question.
