Especially those of you who own dogs, I implore you not to ever use this flea and tick product on your dogs or cats. It is harmful and can be deadly to dogs and will kill cats. $900 in vet bills and only an allergic reaction and skin irritation are the reasons my dog was one of the lucky ones. There is a class action lawsuit against the company that makes it.

I'm about to get a dog actually, so thanks for the info. We have used Hartz for 13 years on my dog back home. Never a problem.

It's a cocker spaniel/poodle mix. Otherwise known as the cockapoo. The breed choice was my fiancee's, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't the cutest dog ever. We bring him home on January 2.

My 2 dogs thank you JPN,good to hear your dog was saved.
