This is what I'm thinking. Danks could have had Gavin's contract, so theres no point in him accepting that or less.

I was thinking the same thing. He may be younger, but right now Gavin is the better pitcher.

Floyd was clearly better than Danks last year. And that's quite impressive considering the horrendous start Gavin got of to. With that said, I'm glad we've got both. I'm really not that concerned about the club being able to work out an extension with Danks. I'm fairly certain something will get done.

 

Based on what Quentin could do if he stays healthy, $3 million is a steal. But like I said, based on what he COULD do.
