I know I am.

I am now that I know about them.

I won't even bother. I am fairly well-educated, and I am still horrible at that game. My brain just doesn't seem to want to work well with the show's format...

What is a "cop-out" Alex?

my roomate in college took the regular adult one (not the college one) and did well enough to get called to compete in person. apparently the live competition is more than just how well you do, but is also about your personality .....anyways he ended up making it and was on the show....he took second, lost by about 100 bucks

That is correct, Mike!

Your turn at the board!

I know a guy who was on the show. He lost on the final Jeopardy question. I'm really good at the show, but I'd never see myself getting past the live audition because they base it on more than just how well you do. I'll try anyway.

If I remember Ill definitely try.

Id rather make it on Are You Smarter Than A 5th grader.

That show is an easy $500k, just dont get greedy and go for the $1mil, those questions are impossible. Even Ken Jennings missed.

I would, but I may be at the hospital with a childbirth thing the night of the test.

If you take the test instead of going to the birth, I guarantee you get on the show.

If you take the test instead of going to the birth, I guarantee you get on the show divorced by your wife.

Some of us may have actually gone for tryouts for that show. They're not looking for people who might actually win it.

Ok, spill it Balta. What happened?

I got 100% on the Jeopardy tryout. Said I was too smart.

I got 100% on the Millionaire tryout. Said I was too smart.

I got 100% on the 5th grader tryout. Obviously.

I got 100% on the Lets Make a Deal tryout. I don't have a funny punchline, so picture a chicken wearing a pair of sunglasses and a bra.

Just finished the east Coast Audition. Dang, some of those questions were hard!

I know I got 18 correct and there were about 10 or so I was iffy on. But yeah that was real hard. Funny that one of the answers was Boo Radley. Hadnt thought of that character or book in years. Suprised I got it.

Nailed every question they asked me, and of course therefore didn't get a callback for the show. Was pretty clear that people who could actually win wasn't what they wanted.
