Trib Story: The Sox plan to fortify their scouting efforts in Latin America

 

Scouting director Doug Laumann said the Sox will add more scouts and other financial resources "and get it better over there.''

 

This is certainly interesting. Let's see if it goes down as they say though...

I guess we'll see what happens, but it's a start. Let's hope they're serious about it.

The first thing we'd see is some signings, but we won't see anything on the major league field for probably 5-8 years.
