Yeah I don't think that's true. Maybe once in a while when they are really out of hand (ie: Ron Artest), but normally they just take their suspension and/or fine and it's over with.

In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he went on to do that after he retires from the Lakers. He's got a very camera friendly appearance, and he seems to be a very charming, well-spoken man. Fox was a pretty darned good player for Boston before he came to the Lakers. And Fox is one of the best defensive small forwards in the NBA. He's got good shooting range, and he's a hard-nosed player who isn't one of those players that's afraid to get down and dirty. Fox is not at all a cheap-shot artist -- it was Doug Christie who started that "fight", and IMO Doug is the pussy. And he does play basketball -- he's a role player. He's been a very important part of the Lakers' 3 championship seasons. Although, since you probably only watch the Lakers a few times a year, you wouldn't know that, would you?
