RIP Ronnie James Dio

Featured Replies

A legend of heavy metal died today.

Ronnie James Dio died of stomach cancer this morning at the age of 67.

Dio was a member of Rainbow, Black Sabbath (later known as Heaven and Hell) as well as his own band, Dio.

Rest In Peace, Ronnie - no one deserves the "metal horns" salute more than you!!

Dio has rocked for a long, long time,

Now it's time for him to pass the torch.

He has songs of wildebeests and angels,

He has soared on the wings of a demon.

It's time to pass the torch,

You're too old to rock, no more rockin' for you.

We're takin' you to a home,

But we will sing a song about you.

And we will make sure that you're very well taken care of.

You'll tell us secrets that you've learned. Raow!

Your sauce will mix with ours,

And we'll make a good goulash baby.

Dio, time to go!

You must give your cape and scepter to me.

And a smaller one for KG.

Go! Go! Dio! Dio!

RIP Dio :headbang

Those are some bulls*** lyrics.

I think they're pretty funny. RIP Dio and all due respect, but He if he was a willing self parody in the Tenacious D movie he must have had a decent sense of humor about it all.

Tenacious D sucks.

Pfft.. The D loved Dio, and the fact that Dio was in Pick of Destiny is a perfect example of their relationship. As Jim said, if Dio hated them and that song, he wouldn't have been in their movie. That simple.

Moral of the story: Tenacious D is awesome and RIP Dio :headbang

Taking them out of the context of satire made those lyrics look s***tier than they were probably meant to be.

Rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio.

One of the greatest voices in rock has gone.

Tenacious D sucks.

You suck.

Dio, did not. RIP.

I into a friggin' rainbow in the dark the other day. Ever since Dio passed I've had nobody around to tell me to "look out" anymore.

Tenacious D may love Dio, but they still suck. I agree with Critic.
