May 22, 201015 yr Author When we started 16-24 in 1983, I wonder how many people were calling for LaRussa's head and I wonder what the mentality of the ballclub was at that time. No question we're going to hit better and get better starting pitching the rest of the year. We all can agree that our starting staff's ERA won't be in the 5's all year nor will we be hitting .236 all year. Maybe we'll hit .237, but it will be higher than .236 :-P
