Anyone have a list? Last year it was really fun watching Jared Mitchell play on ESPN for LSU. So who do we have this year that we can watch on ESPN? I don't follow college baseball very much, I don't really have any answers.

Just making a list here based on ESPN's CWS bracket, and our list of draft picks....

 

5 (158): Andrew Wilkins, 1B, L/R, Arkansas

10 (308): Ross Wilson, 2B, R/R, Alabama

26 (788): Kevin Rath, LHP, Cal State Fullerton

 

I think we just have these 3 guys left in the tourney.

All 3 of these teams will play tonight.....

Alabama at 5PM.

Cal State at 6PM.

Arkansas at 8PM.

Ross Wilson is 0-3 with 2 Ks, but his team is winning 5-4 in the 9th.

Wilkins is 1/3 with a R, and a K. His team is up 5-4 in the 5th.

Kevin Rath lost it for his team. He gave up 2 ER on 1 H and 2 BB with 2 K in 1 IP. He pitched the 10th inning.

Geez.. not a good day for sox picks.

Rath was topping out at 86. Crafty lefty at best.

Wilkins is 2-4 so far in a game that is still going on in the 12th inning. His AVG is up to .282 (meh).

 

Ross Wilson was 2-4 with a HR, but 'Bama lost and is out of the CWS. Ross finished with a .274 AVG, 9 HR, and 45 RBI.

Really nice piece of hitting by Ross "Two-A-Days" Wilson as he pokes an Rbi single to RF.
